An enriched school life |
Being a leader can be hard at times, making sure that there is a sense of discipline instilled in your CCA team/council members when the coach/teacher is not around, and the need to constantly give out reasonable orders to your team members can be daunting at times, making the hard decisions. All these tasks to accomplish, in fact, shapes you into who you will become. It is your choice whether to view these challenges positively or not. For those who do and rise up to the challenges:

Communication skills, the handling of interpersonal relationships and adaptability all can be learnt and improved significantly when you take on a leadership role, as you will be given a huge responsibility to manage the people around you in your team. Hence, being well-equipped with such essential skills through constant leadership overtime allows you to be well prepared in facing society in future, all of which is evidently more important and useful than school grades. |
